Mr. Hagins has more than 27 years of experience in software development, engineering and management in addition to product management and marketing.
During his career he has held positions including Chief Technology Officer, Chief Information Officer, Senior Vice President of Product Management, Chief Architect, and Vice President of Engineering. He currently serves as the CTO of Mural and is responsible for all technical aspects of client engagements. Prior to Mural, Mr. Hagins served as the Chief Information Officer of Dynix, a mid-market consumer of SaaS applications. Prior to that, Mr. Hagins served as the CTO of Apptix where he led the development of their software platform (TECOS) used for the delivery, management and operations of their channel services. Mr. Hagins has been active in the Software-as-a-Service and Application Services industry from the beginning, helping to launch the J.D. Edwards ASP initiative in early 2000 and becoming a board member of the ASP Industry Consortium (ASPIC) in 2001.
Mr. Soska joined Mural as its Chief Financial Officer in November 2006. For the last eight years, his professional experience has centered around delivering critical technology solutions to small businesses.
Prior to Mural, Mr. Soska was the CFO for Apptix, a global public company traded on the Oslo Stock Exchange. Apptix was then and still is the world’s largest provider of Hosted Microsoft Exchange. Prior to Apptix, Mr. Soska served as the Vice President of Business Operations and Technology Services at HostOne, the hosting operation of MarchFirst/USWeb. Previously, Mr. Soska held several operating roles in organizations focused on disseminating information via the Internet and other technologies. Mr. Soska has a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Science in Education from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics from Saint Joseph’s University.
Over the past four years, Mr. Brooks has led development of engagements with Verizon, Qwest, TelMex, TELUS, Telefonica, Vodafone Group and many others, and has conducted executive level workshops on Small and Medium Business Value-Added Services (VAS) strategy with over 40 target distribution channels.
Prior to SMBLive, Mr. Brooks was Director of Sales at SevenSpace, a venture-funded startup that was acquired by Sun Microsystems in 2005. SevenSpace delivered IT Outsourcing solutions for small and medium businesses with a focus on technical automation and repeatable, product-based IT services. Prior to SevenSpace, Mr. Brooks was a Senior Consultant at Andersen Consulting in the Telecommunications Industry Practice. Mr. Brooks holds a Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Chemistry and Environmental Science from Princeton University.
Ms. Citroen serves as the Vice President of Delivery at Mural, and is responsible for the resourcing and successful execution of all client engagements. In this role, her strong operational background and exceptional organizational skills are focused on establishing clear operational processes and procedures for efficient and effective delivery.
Prior to joining Mural, Ms. Citroen was the COO and Co-Founder of OnDemand Solutions, a successful SaaS consultancy that was acquired by Mural in July 2006. Prior to OnDemand Solutions, Ms. Citroen was President and Owner of her own consulting company providing strategic planning, process re-engineering and technology focused project management services to the SMB marketplace. Ms. Citroen received a Bachelor’s degree in Librarianship from the University of Aberystwyth, Wales.
Mr. Murfin has spent 100% of his time at Mural working with companies ranging from the largest telecommunications providers (like BT, Vodafone, Teliasonera and Orange) to small IT resellers and agencies to convince them to build and launch online services that 'just work'.
Before joining Mural, Mr. Murfin led development of one of the first channel development groups for software-as-a-service at Microsoft Corporation. Mr. Murfin’s team was responsible for enabling new channel partners for Microsoft’s software solutions and services as well as managing and growing existing providers including BT, Vodafone and MCI. Prior to Microsoft, Mr. Murfin worked in both the sales and marketing groups at IBM for Networking Hardware and Global Services. Like many of the team at Mural, Mr. Murfin is healthily obsessed by the idea that businesses can do amazing things with a smart blend of the ‘right’ technology and their own individual unique style.
As Vice President of Creative, Mr. Stolp is responsible for translating all aspects of design and creative execution into a competitive advantage for Mural’s clients, and is the driving force behind creative strategy and design execution.
Prior to Mural, Mr. Stolp was founder and Creative Director of Zipperstudios, a marketing and design studio which he started in 1997. Acquired by Mural in 2007, Zipperstudios specialized in helping its clients market value-added products and services to small businesses. Mr. Stolp’s experience spans brand, graphic and product design; working with businesses large and small, and combining traditional with new media. He combines big-picture creative thinking with a hands-on practical approach to develop successful marketing and engaging user experiences. Mr. Stolp holds an Associate’s Degree in Applied Studies in Advertising Art from The Art Center Design College.
